Implementing the solution...

The final solution is implemented step by step into the existing operation. The drafting department is often the first one that goes through a learning curve dealing with new CAD-CAM software and machine software.

The new operation results in a potential increase of product output. The marketing- and sales-department need to be aware of this fact and adjust to the new situation.

A layout of the production facility is designed to assure optimal product flow and maximum efficiency. Sometimes the space-requirements for the new equipment require a new building or some modification of an existing facility.

Once the new equipment is delivered, it needs to be installed and tested. This is usually the first part of the training for the machine operators.

The machine operators are trained to properly handle and maintain the equipment to assure a smooth and save operation.

Follow up

Initial trainings are often basic to get CAD-CAM operators and machine operators familiarized with the new equipment. Once the operators are familiar with the product, they are ready for another training to refresh the basics and learn about more advanced features

Additional Services

Advanced Timber Manufacturing, LLC offers design services for our customers. Your design department might be temporarily overloaded during the implementing phase of new technologies or in a seasonal peak situation. In these situations it is sometimes more efficient to outsource some of the design work instead of hiring another designer. We can take your design from the preliminary architectural phase up to generating the machine code for production.

Databases

We developed a database that can be used to efficiently price timber structures in matter of minutes. It takes information from the CAD CAM software and lists all costs and the time associated for each task in detail. Therefore the database can be used for production management as well. Our standard database is custom tailored for your individual needs and practices.
